Our community is situated in the scenic rolling hills of East Texas and features two small, private lakes. The town of Gilmer, with around 5,500 residents, is rich in history and is home to Lake Gilmer (1,010 acres). We are conveniently positioned just two hours east of Dallas and one hour west of the Texas/Louisiana border. Longview, the neighboring larger city with about 80,000 residents, provides a variety of dining and shopping experiences. Tyler, the largest city in East Texas with approximately 110,000 residents, is only an hour away and hosts a branch of the University of Texas system, along with many major employers and industries, offering even more opportunities for work and recreation.
